Anime is a Japanese style of animation.
It uses bright colors. Anime characters sometimes have large eyes. Cosplayers are people who love anime. They like to dress up as anime characters. A special event happens for them. The event is the Anime Festival Asia.
The most recent festival happens in Singapore last week. It is the biggest anime event in the world. People from all over Southeast Asia come.
The festival starts in 2008. It is popular in many countries of the world. During the pandemic, cosplayers meet online.
In 2019, 120,000 people come to the event. Organizers say that many people come this year. The number is the same or more to 2019.
