The oldest face in Europe – level 1
19-07-2022 07:00
Scientists in northern Spain find a bone. It is a bone of a human. It is a face bone.
Scientists find other bones before. None of them is so old. Scientists believe that the bone is 1.4 million years old. It belongs to the oldest humans in Europe. The name of the species is Homo genus.
Scientists know only very little about this time from human history. The bone is very important for them. They can study how the human face changes over time.
Difficult words: bone (the hard part inside a body to make it move), human (a person), species (a group of similar people, animals, or plants).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
