Wildfire in Brazil – level 2

A wildfire in Brazil was burning on October 10th, and only last Monday, people brought it under control.

Altogether, almost 400 people helped to battle this fire. Around 200 volunteers across Brazil joined firefighters. They say that the fire burned nearly 160,000 acres.

Difficult words: wildfire (a large forest fire), battle (fight), volunteer (a person who does work without getting paid for it).
