Documents about killing John F. Kennedy – level 3

24-03-2025 15:00

The US government recently released classified documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. President Donald Trump announced the release of 80,000 new pages, adding to the six million pages already available.

Jefferson Morley, a journalist and JFK assassination researcher, argues that recent findings challenge the official story that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. According to Morley, doctors in Dallas believed Kennedy was shot from two directions, and the CIA knew much more about Oswald than they admitted. He claims the Warren Commission misled the public, and new documents may reveal the CIA’s role in monitoring Oswald before the assassination.

Some believe national security concerns are an excuse to hide embarrassing details. While politicians from both parties push for full disclosure, many questions remain unanswered. Researchers hope these newly released files will provide a clearer picture of what happened on November 22, 1963.

Difficult words: classified (secret), mislead (to cause someone to have a wrong idea or impression), disclosure (making information public).

How do the revelations about the number of pages released, the doctors' observations of multiple shooting directions, and the CIA's prior monitoring of Oswald contribute to the questioning of the official narrative?
