Horses run through London – level 2
29-04-2024 15:00
Military horses ran through central London on Wednesday morning. The event caused chaos in the streets of Britain’s capital city.
The horses ran away due to noise from builders near Buckingham Palace. Five horses escaped, and four soldiers fell off. Several people and horses were hurt. At least four people ended up in hospital. The horses collided with cars and buses, a tour bus ended up with a damaged windscreen.
Two horses ran as far as Limehouse, eight kilometers from Buckingham Palace. Thanks to the quick reaction of emergency services, nothing serious happens.
Difficult words: chaos (a situation when nobody knows what to do), collide (to crash), windscreen (the front window of a vehicle).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
